ABQ Trolley Co. Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tours, Old Town, Route 66

URBAN ART TRAWL

ABQ Trolley Co. is teaming up with the City of Albuquerque Public Art Program to present, the Urban Art 'Trawl.' You've probably heard of Albuquerque's art crawls; well, we are taking it to the streets! This popular Trawl of Albuquerque's public art will return in 2012.

Albuquerque is a city that has great public artwork - from murals to sculptures to art installations, ABQ has art spread throughout the city. Hop on board a completely-custom, uniquely-Albuquerque, open-air Trolley for a 75-minute guided tour of Albuquerque's public art. Our guest guide is Becky Holtzman (a knowledgeable Burqueña of all things public art-related) who works for the City of Albuquerque's Public Art Program.  Join Becky as she tells us all about the stories behind some of ABQ's greatest public art pieces.

All tickets are $15. Buy tickets online to guarantee your seat on the Urban Art 'Trawl.' Tickets are also available on board the Trolley (cash or credit card).

The tour starts on the west side of the Albuquerque Convention Center (loading zone at 3rd St. & Tijeras NW). The Trolley will be parked at this loading zone approximately 30-minutes before the tour.
