ABQ Trolley Co. believes that every city-tour company should have a mascot. Bill Murray (not to be confused with the actor) is the three-legged official mascot for ABQ Trolley Co. Murray, as he likes to be called, is part greyhound, part pitbull and truly an amazing animal. Murray lost his hind leg when he was just a puppy; although, no one really knows how he lost it. It is speculated that at one time Murray was performing in Hollywood as a stunt dog for Lassie and lost his leg while leaping through a hoop of fire. Murray and Lassie look nothing alike and we are pretty sure that the Lassie TV show ended before Murray was born, but, that is the story. Jesse Herron, co-owner of ABQ Trolley Co., adopted Murray in 2007 while working for the Albuquerque Film Office (Murray is also the official mascot for the film office). Murray's favorite thing to do in Albuquerque is to go for an adventurous walk along the Rio Grande River; he loves exploring the Bosque (Albuquerque's cottonwood forest that runs along the Rio Grande River).
