ABQ Trolley Co. is committed to serving the community in which we live and work. We are also devoted to helping enrich the lives of the people of Albuquerque. We are passionate about Albuquerque and we intend to show it! ABQ Trolley Co. has selected the following organizations as their charities of choice for 2009-2010: Special Olympics New Mexico Special Olympics New Mexico provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with mental challenges (intellectual disabilities), giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other special Olympics athletes and the community. Celebrity Tour Guide Days - April 6 - 9, 2010Every April, ABQ Trolley Co. is excited to commit a week to our Celebrity Tour Guide Days fundraiser. During this week, we will invite local celebrities to be an ABQ Trolley Co. Burqueño for the day. A portion of the proceeds will go to a local charity of their choice. We will have at least one local celebrity tour guide performing 1-2 tours per day during this fun-filled week. Imagine enjoying a front-row seat to the best of Albuquerque led by a famous local celebrity tour guide! Each local celebrity tour guide will bring their own unique character and flavor; something that is sure to make for some very interesting, fun and exciting tours.
