By car

The following directions will guide you into historic Old Town plaza - the starting point of our Best of ABQ city tour. Parking is available at various pay lots throughout Old Town. See the map of Old Town for parking locations (map will open as a PDF in new window).

From the north: take I-25 south to I-40 west. Exit south at Rio Grande Blvd (exit 157A). Head east on Mountain Rd. and then south on Romero St.

From the south: take I-25 north to I-40 west. Exit south at Rio Grande Blvd (exit 157A). Head east on Mountain Rd. and then south on Romero St.

From the east: take I-40 west to Rio Grande Blvd (exit 157A). Head east on Mountain Rd. and then south on Romero St.

From the west: take I-40 east to Rio Grande Blvd (exit 157A). Head east on Mountain Rd. and then south on Romero St.

By NM Rail Runner Express

The NM Rail Runner Express is New Mexico's commuter rail line. From the Alvarado Transportation Center (Downtown ABQ), take the Rapid Ride Red Line  (Route 766) to the Rio Grande Station. Head north to Historic Old Town Plaza. For more downtown Albuquerque connections, click here.
