BALLOON FIESTA

ABQ Trolley Co. is excited to work with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® to offer a special Balloon Glow tour, ABQ Trolley Glow, during the 2012 Balloon Fiesta! ABQ Trolley Co. will be offering a special tour to Balloon Fiesta Park for every evening event offered during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta balloon glow2012 Balloon Fiesta. The tours start on the west side of the Albuquerque Convention Center (loading zone at 3rd St. & Tijeras NW) and end at Balloon Fiesta Park. This all-inclusive, interactive tour includes round-trip transportation (on a completely-custom, uniquely-Albuquerque, open-air Trolley) from Downtown ABQ to Balloon Fiesta Park (approximately 20 miles round trip), a live Burqueño guide, ABQ trivia with great giveaways from local businesses, access to the Balloon Fiesta's exclusive Chasers' Club (a $25 value that includes entrance to the private hospitality tent, beverages, pastries and a hot food item), Chase Lounge (private, gated area with private bar, live music, seating and great views), general admission to Balloon Fiesta and exclusive transportation route with limited traffic! There are only 34 seats available for each tour. Tickets are $55 (includes tax). These exclusive tours sell out well in advance!

NOTE: The Trolley does not leave Balloon Fiesta Park until after the fireworks display has finished.

Tours depart promptly at 5:00pm. Trolley returns to the Albuquerque Convention Center loading zone at approximately 9:30pm. ABQ Trolley Co. does not offer hotel pick-up. Check with your hotel front desk to see if shuttle service is available. Guests must catch the Trolley at the designated loading zone located on the west side of the Albuquerque Convention Center (west complex) just east of Civic Plaza.

Parking: Parking is available underground in the Civic Plaza  parking garage for $6 (3rd St. & Marquette NW - adjacent to our boarding location) and also on street level. Keep in mind that metered parking downtown is free on the weekends and free after 6pm. 

Note: October evenings in Albuquerque can be quite brisk. The Trolley has drop-down rain curtains that will shield our guests from the wind; however, we advise that you dress for cool weather (hat, gloves, jacket, etc). Click here for more information about Balloon Fiesta.

NOTE: There are no refunds for ABQ Trolley Glow tickets. The Trolley travels to Balloon Fiesta park regardless of weather conditions. The Balloon Fiesta does not typically cancel evening events until just before they are scheduled to take place. If the Glow is cancelled due to weather, there is still entertainment and fireworks at the park. Also, due to the high demand for these tickets, there will not be any refunds for anyone who misses the Trolley Glow.  By the time the Trolley Glow tours are upon us, we've turned down many riders who are interested in joining us because the tours are "sold out." Having a rider cancel the week of or the day of does not give us enough time to resell that ticket. Thank you for your understanding.
